Volunteering with Kids Kottage

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN VOLUNTEERING FOR KIDS KOTTAGE!

Are you a volunteer who is willing to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours weekly on a regular schedule to provide childcare support for children (infants through ten years old)? Volunteer assistance is required with:

• Cooking
• Baking
• Housekeeping
• Office and administrative aspects of fundraising

If your answer is “YES”, we would love to have you on our team!

Steps to becoming a volunteer:

1. Make an appointment with Glo (Gloria) Wilson by calling her at 780-944-2888 or e-mailing her at gwilson@kidskottage.org

2. Provide 3 letters of reference from individuals that have known you for at least two years

3. Bring to the appointment a clear Police Security Check (Criminal Record Check) no more than ONE year old and a clear Child and Youth Information Module Check (Intervention Record Check) no more than ONE year old

*If you do not have these two documents Glo will assist you in obtaining them

Bring with you two pieces of acceptable government-issued identification containing your full name and date of birth

*One piece must be photo ID

4. Attend a volunteer orientation
