A friend told me my white shirt didn’t belong with my London-bought Marks & Spencer’s cream tuxedo jacket. She sent me home to change.

The event supported Kids Kottage, which provides emergency help to avoid abuse when families are in distress. At an auction to support the charity, $350-a-ticket supporters helped collect more than $121,000.
Icelandic honorary consul Gordon Reykdal and heart surgeon Denis Modry each shelled out $16,000 for a one-week Bond-style adventure in Italy and Switzerland. Two couples, Sherrick Management’s Jim Brown and United Communities VP Peter Cavanagh and wife Colleen, each spent $12,000 to visit Bond sites and experience 007-style adventures in London.
I avoided getting red wine on my tuxedo.
