Mayoral Interview Part 1: Diana Steele, Rick Comrie and Cheryll Watson
In light of Edmonton’s upcoming Mayoral election, Kids Kottage Foundation Executive Director Janine Fraser was given the opportunity to interview seven of the mayoral candidates to discuss important issues in our city like poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, and ways we can all work together to create a safe environment for the most vulnerable among us.
In Part 1, Janine asked mayoral candidates, Diana Steele, Rick Comrie and Cheryll Watson questions about ensuring the safety of the most vulnerable in our city and ways we can work together to keep Edmonton a family-friendly city.
We truly believe these conversations play a vital role in the advancement of our city. These conversations provide an opportunity to continue to build a city that really does serve each of our residents; a city that invests in its future by investing in, and caring for, the most vulnerable among us; a city that strives to break the cycle of poverty, domestic violence, and intergenerational trauma as a whole.
